Role Description

We are looking for a full-time on-site Site Engineer located in Riyadh. The Site Engineer's role is to closely follow up on all functions and processes associated with the delivery and installation of all façade elements (Aluminum, Glass, sheeting, GRC etc...), comply with all internal procedures, the approved budget, the quality requirements of the Contract agreements, the specifications of the project, the safety procedures, and all applicable statutory regulations and technical standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand and interpret shop drawings and all submittals related to installation (method statement, material submittals, time schedule, cost control procedures, HSE plan, risk assessment, etc.)
• Ensure that the progress of the installation works is carried‐out in accordance to the installation schedule, the quality measures, the safety standards and the approved budget.
• Determine labor requirements, hire and dispatch full-time and temporary laborers to construction sites in coordination with PM.
• Create schedules for construction crew and ensure all activities and work fronts are fully staffed.
• Monitor the installation budget for the project, including supplies, tools, equipment, and labor.
• Ensure that the Site Supervisor maintain an up-to-date inventory of all tools and equipment/plant on‐site.
• Maintain and record all project submissions, correspondence, and drawings.
• Direct, supervise, and train when needed the site workers.
• Ensure well manpower distribution among teams.
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
• Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
• Coordinate with PM regarding all production issues (defect, packing, shipping).
• Prepare defect report for any defected material received on site.
• Prepare daily construction report.
• Control labor attendance and timesheets.
• Comply with the organization's occupational health, safety and environmental procedures.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in the façade industry is a must
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
• Experience in using relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD and MS Office programs
