Vista/NEP is looking for a Broadcast Production Engineer to beresponsible in providing support and maintenance to our largeinfrastructure of media and broadcast systems, in a Centralized Aspart of the Engineering team within the Broadcast and MediaTechnology group, you will work with multiple engineers and offsiteEIC vendor staff, in addition to the IT group and helpdesk,broadcast production and technical operations personnel, andproduction and streaming operations You have a passion forbroadcast engineering/IT and are comfortable with current mediatechnologies, concepts, and emerging trends ( Media over IP, CloudComputing,).

• Supportinfrastructure for on-air broadcast productionsystems
  
• StudioOperations including lighting, video processing systems, andcameras
  
• LiveControl Room production systems andsubsystems
  
• Infrastructuresystems including routers, intercom, monitoring, KVM, Editingsuites, and other live production-relatedgear
  
• Respond to, communicate, manage, and track technical issues as theyarise in aliveproductionenvironment
  
• Perform maintenance of subsystems including software and hardwareupdates, modifications and replacements aswarranted
  
• Implement and maintain process standards for deployment, anddevelop support documentation for operations personnel asneeded
  
• Bepart of a team that works hands-on with the latest generation ofproduction systems andtechnologies
  
• Participatein a support rotation and provide remote support aswarranted
  
  

Requirements

• EngineeringDegree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalentmajor, and/or equivalent workexperience
  
• 5+years of broadcast production and live televisionexperience
  
• Experiencewith file-based workflows and knowledge of enterprise Media AssetManagementsystems
  
• Experiencewith AWS, Harmonic,SRT,RTMP and DEVOPS enviroments, Microsoft andApple OSenviroments
  
• Experiencein the use of manual and electric mechanicaltools
  
• Versedin SMPTE standards for broadcast television and video productionExamples include ST 292M, ST 424M, ST 2110, ST 2059, IEE1588, ST2022-7, SCTE-104,
  
• Strongtechnical ability to troubleshoot and repair broadcast equipmentincluding routers, switchers, audio boards, signal processors,video scalers, playback systems,
  
• Abilityto troubleshoot audio/video signals in traditional SDI and IP ST2110 essence flow routingenvironments
