Overview
We are seeking for a Materials Advisor to join the Planning & Performance Management Division (PPMD) of Technology Oversight & Coordination.
The PPMD is responsible for providing centralized shared services to Aramco's R&D organization.
The Materials Advisor primary role shall include, but not limited to process material requests, report status of ordered materials, expedite delivery of ordered materials, catalogue items, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Key ResponsibilitiesThe candidate is expected to perform the following:
Be able to process material requests on timely manner.
Be able to work on
SAP Material Management (MM) Module.
Develop justifications and recommendations for requested materials.
Be able to develop procedures related to materials procurement.
Expediate ordered materials.
Support the transfer of knowledge and support the development of team members through coaching, motivating and providing guidance.
Ability to develop a presentation on a high level to management.
Negotiate with third parties as part of negotiating teams.
Review technical specifications of requested materials and provide guidance to proponents.
Be able to prepare materials forecasting.
Ability to catalogue items.
Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management/Business Administration/Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
The candidate shall have a minimum relevant experience of 10 years in the areas mentioned above (Position Description).
Other requirements:
Ability to influence internal and external senior and executive management, as well as professionals in cross-functional teams.
A strong sense of accountability and determination to achieve goals and objectives.
