    For this bid we are seeking a Station Operation ManagerDeutsche Bahn's expertise is in high demand all around the world.   • Overview the contractors' management of the passenger stations incl. Platform management (e.g., crowd management), station staffing

  • Development and execution of knowledge transfer for all station operation related disciplines

  • Management of all aspects of station facilities including but not limited to customer service, cleanliness, security, and passenger amenities

  • Ensure a seamless and pleasant experience for passengers at all stations and at all times

  • Oversee the daily operations of stations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Supervise station staff, including customer service representatives, security personnel, and cleaning crews

  • Implement customer service standards and training programs for station employees

  • Monitor station cleanliness, maintenance, and safety protocols

  • Coordinate with vendors for station amenities, services, and retail spaces

  • Address customer complaints, feedback, and inquiries to enhance passenger experience

  • Collaborate with marketing teams for station branding and promotional activities

  • Ensure stations comply with accessibility standards and regulations

  • Report contractors' compliance with the station operation plans

  • Propose amendments of plans where necessary

  • Report reactions and measures taken by contractors in abnormal operation situations
  • Qualifications:
    Project management skillsRailway Operation background (passenger highspeed or long distance intercity)Min. academic degree: B.Sc. EngineeringMin. 10 years in the rail IndustryMin. 5 years in leadership position Min. 10 years in a similar positionInternational experience, preference GCCEnglish (fluent), Arabic (preferred), German (preferred)
