    NEOM-the Line programme will grow and evolve and become the largest capital project worldwide. The Programme aims to challenge the "status-quo" with the intention of delivering a real meaningful change such that NEOM is referenced as world class and world leader is numerous areas. NEOM - the Line is a combination of multi-modules with each module representing a complex multi-discipline element of the overall Programme with both standard, unique, and bespoke scope aspects.

    About the Opportunity – Senior Systems Integration Manager

    The Senior Systems Integration Manager will provide support to the Special Systems* Package Team. The Special Systems is defined as a diverse set of technical systems use to monitor, control and interact with the occupants of The Line. "NEOM – The Line" is being designed as a Cognitive City – allowing ubiquitous data sharing across multiple layers of data infrastructure. The interactions between the human residents and digital systems will determine the success of the environment and ecosystem. Special System roles shall span citywide cognitive digital systems, sector systems, all operational systems and third party systems – including equipment connectivity. The roles shall be integral to the development, delivery, testing and commissioning of a data sharing, equipment and environment monitoring and control.

    As the Senior Systems Integration Manager for NEOM THE LINE at Jacobs you will play a pivotal role across the project lifecycle in orchestrating the seamless integration across a wide range of complex systems. You should have technical awareness of the following systems, which will deployed as part of the Cognitive City architecture:

  • System of Systems (SoS)
  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Building Management Systems / Building Automation System (BMS/BAS)
  • Facilities Management Systems (FMoS)
  • CCTV
  • Fire Systems
  • Building Access Control
  • Public and Information Systems

    • Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive systems integration strategies for a variety of building systems. Ensure alignment with project goals and client requirements.
  • Project Coordination - Oversee the meticulous coordination of diverse building systems, achieving seamless interoperability.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to align systems integration, with overall project objectives.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in the selection, implementation, and integration of state-of-the-art technologies for each system category, ensuring synergy across all subsystems
  • Quality Assurance - Implement robust testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and efficiency of integrated building systems, with a specific focus on each subsystem
  • Risk Management - Identify potential risks and challenges related to systems integration for each system category and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Team Collaboration - Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems integration, aligns with overall project timelines and milestones, providing guidance on each subsystem's requirements.
    • Here's What You'll Need:
  • 20+ years experience
  • Proven System Integration experience across the full project lifecycle (design and build)
  • Led the System Integration function across major projects
  • Major project experience should ideally include complex development projects e.g. Rail, Ports, High-rise etc.
  • Degree educated
