Responsibilities
PrimaryResponsibilities

Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts or productsfor defects and deviations fromspecifications.
Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensureconformance to specifications and make or order necessary processor assemblyadjustments.
Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, andrecommend necessary correctiveactions.
Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meetingspecifications.
Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics suchas number of defective products per dayetc.
Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure theyare efficient and comply with safetystandards
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs;summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into qualitydatabase.
