    Purpose of job

    The candidate will be accountable for providing HSSE expertise or the Integral Business and for devising and delivering a strategy to deliver our common goals

    The successful candidate will be capable of meeting consistent goals set by the EMEA HSSE Lead, the Global HSSE function and the Integral Leadership. Goals will be continuously stretched in pursuit of our safety and sustainability ambitions. The most important objective of this role will be ensuring that our employees and sub-contractors across the Integral business return home safely at the end of their workday. This will require a sustained reduction of incidents and injury rates across the Integral business, and engagement with the wider Integral community in raising awareness and taking accountability for personal safety and wellness.

    This role reports directly to the Work Dynamics EMEA HSSE Lead, with regular reporting to the Integral Leadership and will have accountability for implementation of the Edgnex Global HSSE program across all MENA operations

    As Manager of the HSSE team the individual will be responsible for deploying and supporting the Edgex health, safety and environmental risk management strategy and supporting the HSSE professionals in the Integral HSSE team. The role will be dedicated to managing HSSE matters for Integral and Integral client accounts.

    Job role functions

     Enable the Integral business to comply with Edgnex, cultural, client and statutory requirements in its operations;

     Review the structure and purpose of the Integral HSSE function and devise and deliver short and long-term strategies to enhance HSSE performance at all levels in the business;

     Lead and mentor a team of HSSE professional to maximize performance and to ensure the personal and professional development of the team;

     Demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental issues, ensuring that the Edgnex HSSE Global Standards are applied across areas of responsibility;

     Ensure alignment and compliance with HSSE policies and practice and statutory requirements;

     Facilitate the delivery and management of HSSE, by supporting Integral staff to achieve compliance and performance reporting against all Edgnex, Integral & client-set HSSE metrics and KPI's;

     Support a program for training, audit, measurement and reporting HSSE performance against agreed standards;

     Support new business pursuits, transition of new accounts and expansion of existing accounts;

     Promote a positive, proactive HSSE culture and to influence stakeholders;

     Implement practical risk management strategies for all business units and, more specifically, drive change significant improvement in vehicle safety

     This job will be based in Riyadh, KSA.

    3. What this job involves

    Performance

     Coordinate the implementation of HSSE monitoring procedures that ensure the timely internal management reporting of performance.

     Assist the Sourcing and Procurement (S&P) team in approving and monitoring Integral Contractors.

     Meet operational objectives as specified by the relevant business leaders.

     Have a pragmatic and cost-effective approach to HSSE management.

     Identify conclusions or approaches to problems including strengths and weaknesses of existing systems and alternative solutions

     Drive consistent improvements in Integral's HSSE culture and, more specifically, in all aspects of vehicle safety/safe driving

    Leadership

     To ensure all contractual documentation is managed smoothly and effectively, kept up to date and distributed or referred onwards as necessary.

     To manage the relationship with leasing agents (where retained) and other referral partners in a professional and proactive manner.

     To manage identified key customer accounts in accordance with the Key Account Management Policy. This will involve working closely with the data centre teams and the Sales, Marketing and Communications functions to maximize leads and cross-selling opportunities throughout the Edgnex network. Excellent communication across the global team is essential to this.

     To utilize the Sales and customer relationship database (Salesforce) effectively

    Standard

     Ensure Integral Operations meet JLL Global HSSE Standards.

     Keep abreast of legislation advice and to alert the Integral/JLL business to such changes that will impact on the business.

     As directed, produce and update policy proposals and procedural amendments reflecting changes in legislation, best practice or advice.

     Assist with investigations into specific incidents or accidents with a health & safety and/or environmental consequence and ensure appropriate records are maintained.

     Support work teams, to secure operational HSSE compliance, including providing support for HSSE audits and inspections as required.

    Communication & Reporting

     Ensure the ownership of HSSE is driven into the operations teams and supply chain partners responsible for delivering services.

     Secure the development of a positive, proactive HSSE culture at all levels throughout the region.

     Establish effective relationships and work closely and co-operatively with business leaders, senior managers, account teams, employees, clients and our supply chain.

     Identify, organize and attend appropriate HSSE communication forums.

     Any other duties deemed appropriate to the role as determined by the EMEA Work Dynamics HSSE Lead and/or other senior directors in Data Centre/Integral.

     Computer literate with a knowledge of commonly used software programs, including Microsoft Office applications.

     Ability to research and produce management information and specialist reports making recommendations as appropriate.

     Good organizational skills with the ability to balance competing demands and to meet deadlines.

     Strong business acumen

     Ability to identify trends and identify the root causes of any problems.

    Essential Criteria

     Recognized HSSE professional qualifications and professional memberships appropriate for the region.

     Proven history of implementation of environmental, health and safety systems and processes.

     Relevant HSSE experience in a similar environment (e.g. Engineering Services, Facilities Management, Construction, Fleet Safety, HSSE enforcement or consultancy).

     Must be willing and able to travel as deemed necessary to fulfil the role.

     Previous experience of working at a national/regional level and managing multi-cultural teams.

    Desirable Criteria

     Internal or External Auditor Qualifications.

     Membership of a local environmental management professional body.
