    We are currently looking for a seasoned editor to lead the editorial team and drive the content strategy of our Construction group operations in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Middle East's construction sector, coupled with a strong editorial background in both digital and magazine platforms. As the editor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the content creation of all creative material within the KSA Construction group, and ensuring the delivery of timely and relevant industry insights.



    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead, manage, and inspire a team of writers, reporters, and contributors to produce high-quality content for digital and print platforms.
    • Develop and execute an effective content strategy that aligns with the brands objectives and resonates with our target audience.
    • Plan, assign, write, and edit articles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brands editorial standards.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developments to ensure the brands content remains timely and relevant.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including industry experts and partners, to enhance content quality and coverage.
    • Ensure the timely publication of content across various platforms, including the brands website, social media channels, and print publications.
    • Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
    • A minimum of three years of editorial experience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred.

    Required Skills

    • Exceptional English and Arabic written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong editorial skills including editing, proofreading, and fact checking.
    • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
    • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
    • Proficient in using editorial software and tools.
    • Strong knowledge of digital publishing platforms, content management systems, and SEO best practices.
    • Paywall experience.
    • Project budget management skills.

    Requirements
    Key responsibilities Plan, write and edit content for three quarterly print magazines and contribute towards each brand's digital content. Collaborate with editors on the region-wide titles, based in Dubai on content plans. Use ITP Media Group's analytics tools to identify trends / patterns, and using insights to inform future content strategy. Work with a central video department to develop the brands' video proposition. Work with a central events department to deliver exceptional annual Awards properties in the Kingdom, ad-hoc events and identify new activations that add value to our brands, audience and clients. Support the Group Editor and Editorial Director by acting as a senior editorial face of ITP Saudi – externally by establishing strong relationships in the industries, and internally by developing a strong reputation for project management and collaboration. Support the Hospitality & Design commercial team by collaborating on projects that assist with revenue growth. Occasionally attend events outside of office hours.
