DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accomplishing Customs clearance human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions, recommending compensation actions, and adhering to policies and procedures.
  
• Participate in implementing the expected plans and programs following the set goals to ensure internal work development and productivity increase.
• Meeting Customs clearance financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions.
  
• Assure the teams are following daily routine tasks in regards to Import and Export shipments.
  
• Process of handling the required items are strictly followed as per set policies and procedures; Assures safety measure are being followed.Preparing the customs clearance department work plan, preparing work schedules and speeding up the workflow to improve the department's efficiency.
• Daily coordination and follow-up with all relevant departments within the company regarding shipping operations.
• Suggesting plans and programs that help improve performance.
• Verify the collection, order, and documentation of all forms and copies of the disclosures and invoices.
  
• Preparing reports regarding customs clearance activities and achievements.
• Follow up shipments and documents with freight forwarders and shipping lines.
  
• Preparing and reviewing monthly reports of shipping costs from different countries.
  
• Follow-up and review of the quotations of the local and international shipping and customs clearance companies.
• Verify invoices and shipping information to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Follow up after clearing each shipment with the warehouse and transportation department to verify the shipment's conformity.
  
• Keep records of all shipments.
• Request and follow up compensation amount from shipping companies in case of arrival delay or combinations or mistakes.
