    Your role

    We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Consumer Platforms team in our Checkout Squad.

    As a Senior Product Manager you will be crucial in improving the purchase and transaction experience at Tamara by helping the Checkout Squad grow more efficiently and stay on target.

    Drawing on your proficiency in building previous customer experiences and preferably in FinTech space, you will be responsible for building faster, innovative, scalable and personalized app workflows to create unique experiences only Tamara can provide.

    With a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams you will collaborate with a diverse ecosystem of talented engineers, designers, analysts, product managers in your team and outside, and leaders across Tamara to leverage system design, create technical solutions, dive deep into complex problems and ultimately revolutionize the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Building and enhancing customer communications through various channels, related to checkout online or In Store
    • Build creative and innovative transaction experiences to increase customer satisfaction and happiness
    • Collaborate with merchant partnership teams to understand merchant goals and pain points, incorporate them while preparing product roadmap, integration SOPs and product marketing activities
    • Help build Checkout product's vision, strategy and roadmap working closely with the Checkout Product Lead
    • Improve metrics such as conversion rate, acceptance rate through personalisation, incentivisation and deeper understanding of customer behavior
    • Define, prioritize and groom the product backlog, create actionable user stories and epics that are clearly visible for your development team
    • Design, execute and iterate A/B tests with our data teams to validate and iterate product increments demonstrating value to our customer and business
    • Define, drive and own quarterly, yearly goals of your team

    Your expertise

    • You have 3-5 years of hands-on experience working on customer experience related fields or product squads
    • Experience working with scaled mobile applications - Android and iOS and managing product releases
    • You're customer obsessed and have successful experience working in fast-paced consumer-focused (B2C or B2B2C) environments
    • Experience working in an omni-channel product context is a plus. This role involves deep discussions with the engineers and merchants hence technical depth in API integration, money movement or FinTech domain would be preferred
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate and influence a diverse group of technical and non-technical stakeholders including other functional leaders
    • Hands-on experience in building and iterating products using Agile methodologies in a distributed product organization
    • There could be short amount of travel involved (up to 10%) to meet other teams and merchants in the region
