    Background:

    Al-Hamra Kuwait has led the Gulf region's construction field since 1971, executing projects in governmental, public, and private sectors. With over four decades of experience in the market, Al-Hamra Kuwait has delivered high-standard turnkey projects to prominent clients in Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Jordan, and Lebanon.

    We seek a Contractor Quality Control Manager (CQCM) in the construction industry.

    Location:

    Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

    Reports to:

    Project Manager

    Tasks:

    • Develop and implement project-specific quality control
    • Inspect and evaluate the work area following plans, specifications, and contract documents, reporting deficiencies as appropriate and elevating issues as needed to ensure safe work practices and quality
    • Develop, gather, maintain, and submit work plans, submittals, reports, etc.
    • Ensure that subcontractors are aware of all project quality control
    • Plan and conduct a three-phase inspection program to include Preparatory Meetings and Reports, Initial Phase Inspections and Reports, Follow-up Inspections and Reports, and Final Phase Inspections and
    • Led and documented quality control meetings with the project team and customers and provided written minutes.
    • Provide daily quality control reports to achieve desired quality outcomes promptly by reinforcing activities that are being constructed in conformance with project-specific standards and constructively confront non-conformance
    • Verify and document that all materials/equipment received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled and stored appropriately, and are acceptable for use in the project; check for damaged and defective materials and address
    • Scheduled, coordinated, and documented all required codes and independent inspections. Document correctly and reinspect all non-conformances before covering up work.
    • Review the as-built drawings to ensure that they are current
    • Review the Job Site Safety Plan, verify that a hazard analysis has been approved before the performance of a specific feature of work during the preparatory phase of control, verify that safety measures are in place during the initial phase of control, and conduct safety inspections during the follow-up phase of control.
    • Stop work; reject materials and equipment; and direct the removal and replacement of any work not in compliance with contract documents, applicable codes, building standards, and established construction engineering principles or activities that present life-threatening conditions or damage to the site.
    • Communicate and interact as a team member with all trades, manufacturers, suppliers, construction staff, and customer representatives in a professional

    Powers:

    • Authority to halt construction activities if quality standards are not met.
    • Decision-making power regarding quality control procedures and corrections.
    • Responsibility for signing off on completed projects from a quality perspective.
    • Lead and manage a team of quality control inspectors and technicians.

    Skills and Profile:

    Must-Have:

    • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
    • Proven experience in quality control management in the construction industry.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
    • Minimum of 10 years experience
    • Current Construction Quality Control Management certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
    • Fluent in English

    Should Have:

    • Experience with international construction standards and practices.
    • Skills in problem-solving and critical thinking.
    • Familiarity AutoCad
    • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and subcontractors.
    • Uncompromising commitment to safety.
    • A bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, or related field
    • Proficient with Procore
    • Familiar with USACE RMS CM

    Nice to Have:

    • Multilingual abilities (Arabic, etc.).
    • Prior experience in the Gulf region's construction market.
    • Advanced training in project management or related areas.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

    Salary and Benefits

    • 12 monthly salaries of SAR 15,800 – annual salary of SAR 189,600
    • Salary will be in Saudi Riyal
