- Monitor and operate control systems, including control panels, consoles, and computer systems, to manage and regulate the production process
- Adjust variables such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates based on operational requirements
- Perform routine checks on equipment and ensure proper functioning of all systems
- Identify and resolve any issues or abnormalities that may arise during operations
- Coordinate with technicians, engineers, and other staff to implement necessary adjustments or repairs
- Prepare and maintain records, logs, and reports detailing operational activities, incidents, and equipment performance
- Comply with safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Control Room Operator in the Oil & Energy industry
- Strong knowledge of control systems, including consoles, panels, and computer-based systems
- Familiarity with process plant operations, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and other equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and procedures
- Proficient in using computer systems, data entry, and software applications for control operations
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
