    Job Purpose:

    • The HSES Senior Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing health, safety, environmental, and security initiatives within our warehousing department. This role is critical in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment while minimizing environmental impact. The HSES Senior Manager will bring several years of experience in HSES management to maintain high standards of safety and environmental stewardship.

    Job Responsibilities

    • HSES Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive HSES strategy aligned with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of HSES professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure compliance and excellence in HSES practices.
    • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to all applicable health, safety, environmental, and security regulations and standards.
    • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities, implementing appropriate preventive measures.
    • Emergency Response Planning: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring staff are trained and prepared for various scenarios.
    • Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into HSES incidents, accidents, or violations, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
    • Environmental Stewardship: Oversee environmental programs and initiatives to minimize the department's environmental footprint.
    • Safety Training: Coordinate and provide HSES training programs for warehouse staff to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
    • Security Measures: Implement and oversee security measures to protect assets, inventory, and personnel.
    • Reporting: Compile and report HSES performance metrics to management and regulatory bodies as required.

    Job Requirements: Qualification and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related discipline (preferred).
    • Several years of experience in HSES management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
    • In-depth knowledge of local, regional, and global HSES regulations and standards.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

    • Strategic Planning: Proficiency in aligning process improvement initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
