• Supervisea small staff and evaluate theirperformance
  
• Understand/interpretlocal, state and/or federal specifications andprocedures
  
• Identify/resolveprojectissues
  
• Analyze/evaluatecontractorproposals
  
• Build/maintainclientrelationships
  
• Communicatewith external projectgroups
  
• Responsiblefor projectfinances
  
• Observe/documentprojectprogress
  
• PerformConstructabilityReviews
  
• Plan,coordinate and supervise sub-consultantswork
  
• Enforceproject scope and approve invoices forpayment
  
• Leadprogress meetings and attend outside meetings related to theproject
  
• Assistwith budget/contract completion, process RFI s and change ordersand maintain projectdocumentation
  

Requirements:

• B.S.Degree in Civil Engineering orEngineering
  
• 6+years of experience managing constructionprojects
  
• 2+years of experience as asupervisory
  
• Extensiveexperience in DOT and Toll Roadexperience
  
• Experienceworking on transportation and/or water construction jobs exceeding$10 millionpreferred
  
• Familiarwith documentation requirements/inspection procedurespreferred
  
• Understandingof complex construction issues (structural issues, mass earthwork,roadway geometry), basic surveying (horizontal/vertical control)and material terminology/design
  
• Experiencewith MS Officeproducts
