    JOB PURPOSE:


    Lead Sales functions andensure all the activities in the region are aligned with thecompany s mission strategic objectives policies and meet all legalGovernmental and other requirements and regulations.

    Steerimplementation of new modern distribution framework in hubadministratively managing and leading Sales function and overseeingthe other support functions. Responsible to deliver the regionbudget increase market share and revenues providing highest qualityof customer service.

    Incumbent will act as the central point ofliaison with concerned management and stakeholders in the Headoffice and use and promote the sales force automation tools inmanaging the regional n activities.

    Represent Riyadh Air as thesenior executive in the region as far as sales are concerned.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES:


    Responsible for effective commercial operationsand sales operations of the region ensuring the functions of theregion implementing state of the art distribution framework drivingquality revenue for Riyadh AirWhile being compliant with allCompany applicable policies and procedures manage the region budgetand all resources to ensure optimum utilization control items ofexpenditure to predetermine budgetary levels by maintaining astrict cost control policy in particular sales incentive costs oftravel agents training and manpower development.

    Identify appointmanage steer Distribution & Sales Partners (GSA) whereverrequired in line with laid out principles in coordination with HQteamResponsible to improve and drive market share through dedicatedor DSP dedicated team with a singular focus on high yield segmentsdriving premium revenue and digital channel growth.

    Developrecommend implement and monitor the Regional Sales Plan includingbusiness priorities revenue and cost of sales target and KeyPerformance Indicators for all commercial activity.

    Riyadh Air brandvalue champion in the area or country of responsibility through allsales and marketing activities especially promotions and those withmedia involvement to ensure strong visibility / communication ismaintained within the assigned region.

    Monitor progress againstrevenue and targets analyze and comment on the monthly traffic /revenue reports and recommend and implement any changes to existingplans and operating budgets.

    Liaise with Sales Development team andidentify review and recommend changes to tariffs or schedules thatcould improve the area performance.
    Be commercially astute ofany/all issues affecting regional performance including competitors activities that could ultimately affect Riyadh Airbusiness.

    Represent Riyadh Air as the Senior Executive in the regionwhen interfacing or negotiating with Government Travel Agents asfar as sales function in concerned.

    Team Player leading bydemonstrating shared goals and values. Source of leadershipguidance and support to all staff in the region.

    Enable thefunctional heads in the region to ensure staffs are recruitedtrained and motivated to the standards set in the People KPI byrecognizing performance.

    Provide where appropriate a successionplan for the station.

    Authorized to steer and sign all contracts/agreements for the region within the stipulated guidelines inaccordance with Riyadh Air policiesPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

    Minimum12 years experience in the field of sales and marketing of which atleast 5 years had been in management and supervisory capacity asCountry/ Territory or Regional Manager.

    The jobholder should haveadequate background in major airline business processes andknowledge of modern distribution technology.

    Exposure inimplementation of modern Retailing will be an addedadvantageACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
    Educated to degree level orequivalent preferably in areas of business. Master s/ Post GraduateDiploma qualification is desirable.


    SKILLS:


    Must have sound knowledgeof modern retailing techniques with proven excellent peoplemanagement and motivational skills high level of entrepreneurialskill resilient and culturally sensitive with high communicationand motivational ability.

    Must be able to create strong partneringrelationships at a senior level with internal and external contactsincluding heads of governments airlines and businessassociates.

    Clarity of thought process focused on delivering resultsdetailed eye for analytics and time managementLANGUAGES:
    Englishlanguage proficiency is a must knowledge of other languages isimportant based on location
