    Description

    SAIC is seeking an Field Service Rep (FSR)/ Electronics Technician in support of our customer in Saudi Arabia.

    Candidate will perform duties as a Field Service Rep (FSR) / Electronics Technician deploying in support of USAF C4ISR in Reset Tactical Vehicles. After training in Charleston, the candidate will deploy to Saudi Arabia for a minimum of 12 months. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading all C4ISR systems and equipment on all tactical vehicles in the area assigned. Candidate will perform routine maintenance checks, troubleshoot problems and replace/repair malfunctioning equipment. FSR's may perform alternate equipment custodian duties as well as receiving Mission Support Equipment (MSE) shipments, conducting inventory, operational checks as well as tagging, packaging, storing and onward shipment of MSE. The FSR may be tasked to utilize the USAF Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) to record all repair and fault analysis.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

  • Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program. Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.
  • Two (2) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance, and checkout.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance. Active clearances preferred.

    • Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience with DoD C4ISR systems and equipment as an operator or a technician for installation and integration into Tactical Vehicles.
    • SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
