JobSummary:
As a Shear WaveUT Technician you will specialize in using ultrasonic testingtechnology to evaluate the properties of a material component orsystem without causing damage. Your role is crucial in detectingflaws and ensuring compliance with safety and qualitystandards.

KeyResponsibilities:

• ConductShear Wave Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to detect internal flaws or tocharacterize materials.
  
• Interpretdata from ultrasonic tests and provide detailed reports that helpin assessing the condition of the equipment orstructures.
  
• Set up and calibratenondestructive testingequipment.
  
• Follow stringent safetyguidelines and ensure the safety of all testingoperations.
  
• Work closely with otherinspection and engineering professionals to discuss findings andrecommend correctiveactions.
  
• Maintain accurate recordsof inspections and testingresults.
  
• Stay updated with thelatest trends and technologies in ultrasonic testing andcontinuously seek to improve testingprocedures.
  

Requirements

• Certificationin Ultrasonic Testing (UT) with a focus on Shear Wave technologyfrom a recognizedinstitution.
  
• Provenexperience as a UT Technician specifically in Shear Wave inindustries such as oil & gas construction ormanufacturing.
  
• Indepthknowledge of the latest ultrasonic testing equipment andtechnology.
  
• Highattention to detail and excellent problemsolvingskills.
  
• Stronganalytical abilities to interpret test results and make informeddecisions.
  
• Effectivecommunication skills for reporting and collaborating with teammembers.
  
• Abilityto read and interpret technical documents and engineeringblueprints.
  
• Mustbe willing to relocate to Dammam SaudiArabia.
  
• Capableof performing physically demanding tasks in various environmentalconditions.
  
• Mustadhere to strict safety protocols while handling potentiallyhazardousmaterials.
  
• Flexibilityto work shifts that may extend beyond regular duty hours includingweekends and holidays asnecessary.
