- Coordinate and execute the procurement of parts and materials needed for production.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand part requirements and ensure timely availability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, particularly in China.
- Conduct regular communication to ensure alignment on product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, lead times, and contractual agreements.
- Work to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall supplier performance.
- Oversee on-site logistics, including coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, and managing customs clearance processes.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes and minimize costs.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production needs while minimizing excess stock.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Ensure all procurement and logistics documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Stay informed about import/export regulations and work to ensure compliance with customs requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Proactively address and resolve any issues related to part procurement, supplier relations, or logistics.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of expeireince in procurment, supply chain management or project management.
- Familiarity with supply chain software and tools.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong written and verbal English and Arabic communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of Chinese business culture and language skills (Mandarin) is a plus.
- Knowledge of international shipping and logistics.
