Job Summary:

As a Cost Control Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the company's expenses to ensure optimal utilization of resources and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with various departments and project managers to establish budgets, track costs, and identify areas for cost savings. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in cost control management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cost control policies and procedures to ensure efficient use of company resources.
• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to establish project budgets, review cost estimates, and identify potential cost risks.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures and prepare regular reports to track actual vs. budgeted costs.
• Identify areas for cost savings and recommend cost-cutting measures to improve financial performance.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with cost control policies and procedures.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Develop and maintain cost databases and cost forecasting models.
• Participate in project meetings to provide cost-related updates and advice.
• Train and mentor junior cost control staff.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control management, preferably in a construction or manufacturing company.
• Strong understanding of cost control principles and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
