    Job Purpose:

    To manage daily accounting tasks to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department. To assist the company to be fully aware of its financial condition in order for the organisation to make the right decisions and accomplish long term success. Analyse every day financial activities and provide advice and guidance to management on future financial plans.

    • Lead the accounting team and department.
    • Oversees the daily workflow of the department and supervises the GL/AP/AR and Cash management functions..
    • Validate/verify and post the transactions in the accounting software/module.
    • Handles discipline and day to day tasks assigned for both sections (A/R and A/P)
    • Assuring to deploy the finance policy and procedures on all company records.
    • Review, validate and report the financials on a monthly basis.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyse financial reports in relation to current budget and prior year information.
    • Audit expenditures, ensuring compliance with the accounting procedures of the organization.
    • Execute and Supervise GL and inter-company entries and ensure of supervision of AR/AP/Cash Management functions.
    • Balance and reconcile accounts; adjusts and corrects daily journal entries.
    • Monitor expenditures and prepares monthly financial statements and administrative reports.
    • Provide technical support to clerical and professional staff.
    • Prepare quarterly and annual statements.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills, Education and Experience:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
    • Extensive knowledge of accounting concepts and principles and IFRS.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting and financial software.
    • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or business administration required.
    • Three to five years of supervisory experience required.
    • CPA, CMA or any equivalent certificate will be plus.
    • Real estate and consultancy backgrounds will be prioritized.
