JobOverview

Hull Outfitting Engineerwill work for new build commercial ships (NBS). Accountable for thesafe effective and efficient utilization of physical and humanresources employed in all fabrication/construction related projectactivities with background knowledge of Piping Systems LayoutsHydraulic and Pneumatic systems inspection equipment hydro test andair test.

KeyResponsibilities

1.Installation and inspection of module units pipeline structuralelements operating outfitting devicesand valve remote controlsystem.

Supervise and coordinatethe installation activities and perform inspection tests such ashydrostatic and air test to ensure the compliance with safetyregulation and functionalperformance.

2. Team Leadership andCoordination:

Lead a team ofelectrical outfitting technicians and provide guidance training andperformance feedback. Collaborate with other departments to ensuresmooth workflow and timelycompletion.

3. Planning and prepareschedules to execute all activities within providedresources:

Developing a clearproduction execution strategy and plan for piping/welding worksload analysis block transportation/arrangement and manpower.Planning and monitoring materials and consumables for the projectin advance.

4. SafetyCompliance:

Implement and enforcesafety protocols risk assessment measures and personal protectiveequipment requirements.

5. QualityControl and Assurance:

Ensureadherence to quality standards and inspection procedures duringhull outfitting operations.

6.Documentation andReporting:

Maintain accuraterecords of hull outfitting activities including work ordersinstallation reports and quality control documentation. Preparereports on progress issues and recommendations forimprovement.

Qualifications

• Bachelorsdegree in mechanical engineering.
• ProjectManagement certification is a plus but notrequired.
• Minimum of 39 years of experience inrelevant field.
• Ability to read and trace pipesand Module units drawings.
• Ability to monitorplan and arrange of manpower.
• ManagementLeadership and communication Skills.
• Knowledgeof pipe jointing methods.
• Knowledge of applyingHydro Test and AirTest.
