- Proactively provide day-to-day support to Morgan Stanley investment teams and traders
- Responsible for oversight of core operations functions that are outsourced to State Street IMS (eg. transaction management, reconciliations, overdraft monitoring)
- Prepare and verify trade instructions of SMA, and mutual fund transactions
- Covering the portfolio services Saudi and oversight of reporting teams in India and ensuring our oversight obligations are met from an audit perspective
- Using strong business sense and judgment to identify potential risk areas; making appropriate recommendations and highlighting those risks via the appropriate escalation channels
- Provide day-to-day support to both clients and internal stakeholders by taking ownership of queries and working with various teams to resolve eg. investment teams, CRMs, legal, compliance, CORS and FCG
- Involvement in local and global projects
- Partner with internal business units including IT to deliver tactical and strategic solutions as and when required by the investment teams
- Working proactively with counterparts on a global basis, in making recommendations for process improvement and consistency
- Preparing and submitting all regulatory reports
- Managing Mutual Funds subs/reds, valuation, NAV publication and announcement on Saudi Stock Exchange and Firm website
- Monitoring and review of daily reconciliation including trade matching and trading posting in the MS systems
- Coordination with all vendors including brokers, custodians, State Street for all operation related daily activities
- Coordination with internal / external auditors, handling local regulator queries and dealing submission related matter with Saudi Stock Exchange
- Detailed product and instrument knowledge (Equity and Multi-Asset essential)
- Able to efficiently assess problems and provide effective solutions

Description
Morgan Stanley Investment Management offers a comprehensive suite of investment management solutions to a diverse and global client base. Products are offered across a range of strategies including global fixed income, liquidity, active equity, real assets, multi-asset and private credit & equity. The Portfolio Services team sits within operations and is responsible for providing support across MSIM's product and vehicle range, with a focus on those accounts managed from Saudi. The team is the primary operations point of contact for the investment teams and covers a variety of functions ranging from reporting to cash management to client services.
Several core operations functions are outsourced to State Street Investment Manager Solutions (IMS). The team works closely with State Street IMS to ensure all deliverables are being met.
Morgan Stanley Investment Management's product range is continually evolving into new product and strategy areas, demanding ever changing infrastructure and solutions. The individual will be required to contribute to these discussions to ensure that the appropriate support models are in place.
