    Sihamco Group is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef specializing in Asian cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team. As the Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing the preparation and delivery of authentic and innovative Asian dishes. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for Asian flavors, while ensuring the highest quality of food production.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and execute Asian-inspired menus.
    • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely food preparation.
    • Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
    • Monitor portion control and food waste management.
    • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
    • Assist with inventory management and ordering of Asian ingredients and supplies.
    • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
    • Stay updated on new Asian culinary trends and techniques.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Asian cuisine.
    • Deep knowledge and passion for Asian flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
    • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
    • Excellent culinary skills and ability to create innovative and authentic Asian dishes.
    • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
