Purpose of Position:

• To provide technical support, perform routine and stat analyses of samples within the Clinical Pathology laboratory environment.

Requirements:

• HPCSA registration as Medical Technician Clinical Pathology Required, National Certificate Medical Technician - Clinical Pathology Required

Required Experience:

• 18 months experiential learning as a Learner Technician within a pathology environment Clinical Pathology

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath.,
• Perform administration tasks in order to ensure effective administration systems in the laboratory.,
• Process routine bench work in laboratory in order to ensure efficient processing of specimens.,
• Provide technical support within laboratory in order to ensure the efficient flow of specimens and timeous resulting of specimen.,
• Train laboratory staff in order to ensure continuous development and education.
