    Key Accountabilities and Activities


    • Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, NEOM regulations, and safety standards. This may involve inspecting materials, workmanship, and equipment, as well as reviewing construction plans and specifications.


    • Identifying and reporting any potential safety hazards or code violations and work closely with contractors to address any issues that are found.


    • Monitoring the progress of construction projects to ensure that NEOM contractors are on schedule and within budget. This may involve coordinating with different subcontractors and suppliers, as well as tracking project expenditures.


    • Communicating regularly with all NEOM stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and property owners to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that any potential problems are identified and addressed early on.


    • Maintaining accurate records of all inspections and findings to track the progress of projects and to ensure that all required inspections have been completed.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

    Knowledge


    • Construction planning, bidding, operations, and inspection


    • NEOM Building codes and regulations and local construction materials and methods


    • Safety procedures


    • Project management principles Skills


    • Identify potential problems and defects in construction work.


    • Think critically and come up with solutions to problems that arise on construction sites.


    • Communicate effectively with a variety of people, including subcontractors, tradespeople, and clients.


    • Work effectively with other members of the construction team.


    • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications


    • Perform inspections of all aspects of construction projects, including foundations, framing, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
    • Identify and document defects in construction work


    • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, tradespeople, and clients


    • Manage teams of workers and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Experience


    •Active recent experience in the construction field either from the owner, construction, or consultant side.


    • Having worked in design and project management is a definite plus.

    Qualifications


    • 5 or more years in the construction industry


    • Bachelors in engineering, construction management, or related field highly desirable
