    Job Summary

    Purpose of MDTS is to successfully deploy new products tothe market. MDTS regional sales agronomist shares this purpose onregional level with three clear objectives to fulfill the purpose.1) Conduct agronomic and other trials to provide evidence of VP tosupport and develop marketing materials for product launch 2) Driveand support business in premarketing and sales to customers of newproducts 3) Build the capabilities of MDTS shared agronomy platformcustomer needs identification innovation pipeline and standardprocess to commercialization

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Provide and continuously develop technical research andscientific product development capability. Create the basicmaterials to support sales (TDS/MSDS/Flyer/Brochure/Traininginternal and external).
    • Design implement andreport on field trials for Value Proposition determination andevidence. Prove the value of the product technically translate theROI value to farmer $ and other benefits prove the premium.Understand the complexity of field trial results and the potentialmeaning for practical application by farmers. Expertly consideragricultural production and application systems and effect onproduct development.
    • Support Sales withinternal Value Proposition (VP) training customer presentationsmarketing data technical data and customer and market engagement onnew products. Initial customer offering and product establishmentsales.
    • Understand and know market participantscommercial needs of customers and market trends.
    • Contribute to and manage the MDTS agronomy database (ARMsystem).
    • Understand and support the ideationprocess based on market needs (pull) vs Research (push) for productsuccess. Feed the innovation pipeline by understanding andanticipating what the market is seeking or will adopt.
    • Contribute to the development of Business Cases byproviding Market Intelligence (MI) and customer perspectives tosupport product development selection in your region.
    • Contribute to the development of Business Cases byknowledge of regulatory production fertilizer trends to build abusiness case in your region.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree inAgricultural Science Soil Science or Agronomy.
    • 46 years of experience in the field.
