    Our German client, with a global presence, is known for top-tier flow control products and solutions. The organization is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and pioneering solutions to clients spanning diverse industries. As our client extends its reach, we are in search of a proactive and seasoned General Manager (m/f/d) to establish the Saudi Arabian entity and spearhead the company's expansion and prosperity. The General Manager will assume a pivotal role in supervising all facets of the company's operations, strategy, and financial performance. The role primarily involves crafting and executing business strategies, stimulating sales, cultivating a culture of excellence, and ensuring the attainment of the company's short-term and long-term goals.

    Your duties and responsibilities will include:

    • Assume complete P&L responsibility and management of internal and external stakeholders
    • Provide visionary leadership and set clear goals, strategies, and direction for the organization in alignment with the overall business vision in Saudi Arabia
    • Devise and execute business plans, budgets, and sales tactics to stimulate revenue growth and market penetration
    • Establish a cutting-edge sales and technical service framework
    • Analyze market trends, industry competitors, and customer demands to identify prospects and encourage innovation
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards
    • Lead the sales to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
    • Forge robust relationships with pivotal customers, partners, and stakeholders
    • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strategic partnerships to foster growth and revenue diversification
    • Analyze financial data and monitor profitability, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
    • Set performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback to team members
    • Encourage professional development and promote a culture of continuous learning
    • Ensure adherence to all local regulations, laws, and company policies
    • Manage licensing, permits, and other legal requirements related to business operations
    • Mitigate risks and implement measures to ensure compliance with applicable standards

    To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering, or a related field
    • At least ten years of relevant management experience in a leadership role in a technical industry required, preferably in the automation sector
    • Working experience in global organization required
    • Strong sales background combined with a solid understanding of the EPC contractor market
    • Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market and business environment
    • Saudi Arabian citizen / nationality
    • Proficiency in English, Arabic language skills
    • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
    • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving business targets
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    • Solution driven personality with intercultural sensitivity
    • Self-motivated team player with organizational development skills
    • Willingness to frequently travel within Saudi Arabia
