- Develop and implement HSSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure safety and security measures are in place
- Lead incident and accident investigations, and develop and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Provide HSSE training to employees and contractors to promote a culture of safety and security awareness
- Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders
- Stay current with industry trends and developments, and proactively identify emerging HSSE issues and concerns
- Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in HSSE management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry ideally have international experience but the majority of work experience in the GCC.
- Knowledge of HSSE regulations and industry best practices
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HSSE policies and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Professional certification in HSSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus
