In this role, you will join a professional Project Management team that is involved in multiple projects on a program being developed by Diriyah Gate Development Authority.

Anchored to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At Turaif, it is intended to become a world-class cultural heritage destination for the people of the kingdom and for visitors looking to discover the essence of Saudi Arabia.

Phase 1 consists of a 7.5km master plan separated into 5 districts, each with a blend of asset classes all of which are being designed in the Najdi architectural style and are well underway so you will be joining the program at an exciting and challenging time.

• Working within a PMC team providing senior design management support to project managers on various design consultancy projects.
• Provide management and direction in your field of expertise providing advise and recommendations on design related matters.
• Monitors the quality and progress of the design consultants work and ensuring that production requirements are satisfied.
• Works closely with Project Managers to ensure that the consultants are working in accordance with their project execution and quality management plans and are delivering their work on time and to a high standard.
• Liaising closely with the client s design team throughout the design development process to ensure that the approval process is followed in good time.
• Establishes standards and procedures manuals for the discipline and Recommend proposals for improvements to department procedures.
• Actively participates in and promotes the Quality Improvement Program.
• May head a committee within the discipline, striving to motivate and educate the assigned personnel. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

• Proven ability to perform in a supervisory/managerial capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.
• Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software for use in completing engineering assignments.
• Possess extensive experience in MEP, including the ICT/ELV work.
• Previous experience in the design management of an international consultant responsible for the design of Data Centers and Control Centers.
• Proven ability to Interface and coordinate with other design consultants and PMC s on a large program.
• Ability to review and validate the Design Consultant's deliverables against a contract Scope of Services
• Chair and produce minutes of the weekly progress and technical meetings of the Design Consultants.
• Manage and respond to the Design Consultants' RFIs and inquiries.
• Track design changes by the Design Consultants.
• Skilled in the preparation of Scope of Services, technical tender documentation, preparation of technical assessment documents for the purposes of reviewing consultants bids and subsequent technical evaluation.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 15+ years of related work experience
• Including supervisory/managerial experience.
• Professional Engineer registration with active membership in a professional engineering society may be required.
