A growing technology and telecommunicationssolutions provider has an excellent temp to hire opportunity for aProject Coordinator. If you have strong PC skills, experienceproviding administrative / clerical support, and overseeingprojects from start to finish, then this is an excellentopportunity. It requires experience with order processing andcoordinating technical aspects in a fast- paced environment and beadaptable to changing requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to inbound calls while trackingprojects from inception to completion.
• Accomplishes work requirements by trackingtelecom installations that includes assigning, scheduling, andinteracting with Field Service Technicians, internal staff andcommercial clients.
• Meets work standards byfollowing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards;resolving operational problems; and identifying work processimprovements.
• Meets cost standards bymonitoring expenses for projects and implementing cost-savingactions.
• Enhances department and organizationreputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new anddifferent requests and exploring opportunities to add value to jobaccomplishments.
• Requires strong communicationskills with field technicians, clients and team members.
• Able to organize projects, documentinformation, manage files of projects.
• Musthave strong multitasking skills and prioritizing tasks so deadlinesare met.
• Very strong written and verbalcommunication skills able to negotiate to meet deadlines.
• Desired 1 + years of experience as projectcoordinator or experience overseeing projects and meetingdeadlines.
• Proficiency with computers,including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to learn newtechnology quickly.
• Must be able to work in afast-paced environment and be adaptable to changing requirements.

Education:

Bachelor s, Associate's degree or equivalent workexperience.

WorkHours: The working hours are Monday toFriday, 9 5 pm, and it requires flexibility sinceyou will be working with clients throughout the U.S. andCanada.

This is a work from home/remote positionhowever you will need to go to the Plainview, NY office formeetings. The company is growing, and there is opportunity forcareer growth based on performance.
