    MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Responsible for assisting the FC with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in the form of (a) consolidation and (b) standalone, of all legal entities (local and international) complying with the recognition, measurement, and disclosure requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
    • Assisting the Financial Controller in ongoing and contemplated M&A transactions by coordinating with other departments for closure of relevant workstreams and providing full transaction support.
    • Contribute to the timely closure of accounts process and to ensure that the annual accounts are accurate and produced within statutory timescales.
    • Producing financial reports & feasibility analysis for presentation in Board Meetings as well as the Business Plan.
    • Providing a financial perspective on strategic plans including capital market transactions, M&As, buy-side due diligence, etc. by channeling hands-on excel skills as well as interpretation and presentation skills.
    • Play a leading strategic role in the management of financial position, including regular monitoring and reporting to FC & Senior Finance Leadership.
    • Support the development of capital and revenue business cases from strategic outline to full business case delivery, through assessment of the financial and resource implications of options being considered in support and delivery of the Financial Strategy for the business.
    Qualifications, Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience


    • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
    • Professional qualification i.e., Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent.
    • 5-7 years of post-qualification working experience in the large healthcare/manufacturing company.
    • Experience of working with a large, listed client thereby developing an understanding of the complexities of the finance function and the extent of regulatory reporting.
    • Possessing a strong skillset in preparation, understanding and interpretation of financial statements.
    • Experience of taking on a lead role in a cross-functional team for completion of specific projects.
    • Demonstrated experience of dealing with regulatory authorities such as the CMA, ZATCA, SAMA, etc. will be desirable.
