- Manage the execution of the approved workforce plan ensuring alignment with allocated budgets
- Oversee recruitment events and ensure presence in career days of top universities to spread the Company's image, enhance its reputation and attract top talent
- Look for recruitment agencies, headhunters and channels, and consolidate requirements into the sourcing plan to facilitate recruitment activities
- Manage recruitment activities including sourcing vacancies, screening candidates' applications and interviewing, shortlisting and prioritizing candidates
- Build up talent pools especially for managerial positions and maintain relationships with selected candidates for proactive sourcing
- Manage assessment processes as part of recruitment steps
- Liaise with relevant departments to identify a list of potential candidates to fill vacancies taking into consideration recruitment assessment results
- Manage the process of conducting background checks of shortlisted candidates to verify employment history and credentials
- Review job offers and contracts for further signatures
- Manage the process of documenting lessons learned and providing reports on factors leading to challenges in hiring and provide recommendations for improvement
- Lead the preparation and update of the onboarding checklist, guidelines and policies for a successful and efficient onboarding
- Manage the onboarding process through collection of required formalities from new joiners and development of the onboarding program schedule
- Manage onboarding activities including induction sessions, orientations and administrative prerequisites and ensure awareness on the Company's values, culture and change initiatives to facilitate new joiners' integration
- Manage & evaluate employees' performance with continuous feedback on their assigned tasks and provide development opportunities to maximize the potential and engagement of employees
- Manage the talent pipeline through effective utilization of employee development programs, mentoring programs, career planning and succession planning
- Manage employees changes through continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking best practice into account, changes in standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans
- Manage the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective services
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude
- Ensure the implementation of various information security practices and standards to ensure compliance with relevant policies and the protection of Company data and information
- Bachelor degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management, or Business Administration or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition in construction
- 3+ years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
- CBI certificate
