- Direct and supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of insulation systems onboard vessels, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Attempt to act as a mentor to trainees in the insulation department.
- Ideally, the candidate should have a certification as an assessor or be willing to become one,
- Despite the challenges, it is imperative to ensure that all insulation activities adhere to industry standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to overcome the inevitable obstacles faced in insulation operations.
- Manage available resources as efficiently as possible.
- Prioritize safety at all times, given the potentially hazardous nature of insulation materials and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred, with additional certifications or training in shipbuilding or related disciplines being advantageous.
- Strong English communication skills are required
- A documented history of being a certified assessor would be preferred,
- Ideally, the candidate should have a documented history of working at prominent shipbuilding organizations.
- Experience working on projects adhering to top classification society standards/requirements would be desirable
