    About the role

    The CountryGeneral Manager Saudi Arabia provides leadership to the countryorganization and develops BDs business for sustainable andprofitable revenue growth. In this role you will develop businessopportunities and ensure the effectiveness and alignment of theGoToMarket organization to the healthcare systems markets saleschannels and customers across BD businesses.

    Therole represents the critical linkage point between BDs globalcapabilities businesses and functions and the needs of thecountry.

    As such the person in this position isthe BD leader most responsible for exemplifying the company valuesand culture while achieving the companys purpose of Advancing theworld of health.

    Main responsibilitieswill include:

    • Responsible for leading the Saudi Arabia P/L and for achievingrelevant financialobjectives
    • Leading businessactivities for achievement of short and long term businessobjectives driving sustainable growth andprofitability.
    • Ensuring BDis a good corporate citizen in the country creating shared valuethrough engagement and alignment around key health and social needsthat BD can help toadvance.
    • Building extensivenetwork of external stakeholders. Establishing multilevelrelationships with national/regional authorities top customersprofessional medical associations nonprofit/NGO industry andpatients.
    • Crafting a clearpath to gain competitive advantage. Partnering with regional /worldwide businesses to build a 3 5 year integrated countrystrategic plan including market development objectives customercentricity / commercial excellence and GTM plan andstrategies.
    • Leading thecountrys talent agenda by building the capabilities to deliver onthe 35 year company and countrystrategy.

    About you

    We seekan experienced Country General Manager within the MedicalTechnology industry. You will have strong experience working withina matrix structure and have worked within an international largecorporation.

    Youwill also have:

    • Demonstrated P&L management within a commensurately complexand matrixed multinational healthcare environment with a superiortrack record of building high performance teams that meet/exceedtargets.
    • Experience leadingthrough diverse business situations (ie. Integrationsdivestitures)
    • Experience inleading enterprise wide changeinitiatives

    Knowledge andSkills:

    • Consistently achieving results and market growth even underchallenging conditions (regulatory changes market disruptersetc.)
    • Building and shapingculture focused on inclusion and diversity based on experience inthe intricacies of leading cultural transformational in amultinational organization
    • An authentic and values driven servant leader demonstrating visioninspiration judgement andclarity
    • Available to travelup to 30% of the time; role based in Riyadh SaudiArabia
