- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a Master's degree (MSc2) in Environmental or Water Chemistry.
- At least 5 years of experience in consulting, Operations & Maintenance of water facilities, construction, or commissioning of water treatment plants.
- Fluent in English. French or Arabic is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computer technology.
- Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Bentley, or equivalent is a plus.
- Familiarity with Activated Sludge Modeling (ASM) software like Biowin or equivalent is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, operational execution, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to travel.

Mission
To lead the technical aspects of contract acquisition and execution, with a focus on O&M related to water treatment facilities. Optimizing cost estimations, organizing efficient structures, assessing assets, providing technical support to subsidiaries, offering expertise in water treatment, staying updated on industry advancements and contributing to SAUR's knowledge base.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Technical Director of the international division, the tendering engineer responsibilities will be:
· Handle the technical aspects during the bid phase for upcoming Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Build-Operate-Own-Transfer (BOOT), and management contracts related to water treatment plants. This includes:
o Cost estimation for O&M services.
o Development of the organizational structure required for contract execution.
o Assessment and valuation of assets involved in the contracts.
· Provide technical support and expertise to SAUR DI subsidiaries engaged in O&M activities. Collaborate with local teams to ensure the efficient operation of water treatment facilities.
· Offer specialized knowledge and expertise in water treatment topics such as wastewater treatment processes, potable water plants, and the operation of specific equipment. Provide guidance and solutions for technical challenges.
· Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry best practices in the field of water treatment. Conduct research, attend conferences, and liaise with technical experts to maintain a comprehensive understanding of emerging trends and innovations.
· Contribute actively to SAUR's database of knowledge by documenting best practices, lessons learned, and technical insights gained from project experiences. Ensure that this knowledge is readily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
· Establish crucial relationships with various departments and experts including:
o Finance and legal departments.
o Projects management team.
o SAUR group technical experts and international subsidiaries.
o Technical consultants and advisors.
o Suppliers and subcontractors.
o Clients, including technical services and administrative bodies.
o Partners involved in BOOT (Build, Own, Operate, Transfer) contracts.
