As a Senior Procurement Inspection Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of procurement processes and products within the Oil & Gas industry.     Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement quality control processes for procurement activities within the Oil & Gas industry.
    • Conduct inspections of vendor facilities to evaluate compliance with quality requirements and standards.
    • Review procurement documentation, including specifications and drawings, to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify quality improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
    • Monitor supplier performance and conduct audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
    • Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, addressing any quality issues and ensuring timely resolution.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement inspection, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and procedures within the Oil & Gas industry.
    • Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
    • Experience in conducting inspections and audits of vendor facilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
    • Professional certifications such as API Q1, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent are preferred.
