Ourclient a leading healthcare facility based in Saudi Arabia iscurrently looking for a Consultant Adult Psychiatrist ArabicSpeaker.

Inthis role you will be responsible for the following and not limitedto:

1.Assessing and treating mental illnesses through a combination ofpsychotherapy psychoanalysis hospitalization and medication.
2. Assisting patients to help them find solutionsthrough changes in their behavioral patterns the exploration oftheir past experiences or group and family therapysessions.
3. Conducting psychoanalysis sessions such aslongtermpsychotherapyandcounseling for patients as needed
4. Prescribingmedications to patients to correct chemical imbalances that causeemotionalproblems.5.Providesthe full range of psychiatric diagnostic and treatment modalitiesto patients both inpatient and outpatient settings sharing theworkload with the other Psychiatrists within theService.
6. If (s)he has completed subspecialty residencytraining in child psychiatry (s)he also provides outpatient andinpatient treatment to children and adolescents.
7. Takesafterhours and weekend calls in rotation with other staffPsychiatrists.
8. Responds to consultation requests fromother services received either directly or when oncall by offeringclinical advice or assuming full responsibility for the mentalhealth care of thepatient.

Requirements

To beconsidered for this opportunity you need to meet the followingcriteria:

• ADoctor of Medicine WESTERNQualification
  
• Completionof specialty qualification in the field of Psychiatry as per SCFHSrequirements
  
• Minimum3 years experience Post Qualification CCT or CCST or Irish Board orAmerican Board or Canadian board or AustralianBoard.

Shouldbe Bilingual English and Arabicspeaker.
