What is expected fromyou

As an External Audit Senior Associateyou will be contributing in delivering the best service to ourclients. You will be reporting to Managers and above working aspart of a team that helps the clients building trust solvingcomplex challenges and proactively assisting in the management ofseveral engagements. Your job duties will include but will not belimited to:

• Using youranalytical skills to analyse the clients financial statements andensure they adhere to financial regulations
• Examining financial and accounting recordsother documents and tangible items such as inventory or plant andequipment
• Asking a rangeof questions from formal written questions to informal oralquestions to a range of individuals at our clientorganizations
• Testing theclient organizations internal controls andprocesses
• Building trustand credibility with the clients by understanding theirexpectations and delivering high qualityservices
• Takingaccountability for researching and understanding key facts on theclient;s industry information before the engagementbegins
• Communicating withthe Manager and/ or Partner in a timely manner with respect toengagement progress risks issues variances from plan in terms oftime budget etc.
• Takingfull ownership of external file completion
• Analyzing engagement economics of self andfield staff and explaining variances from thebudgets
• Reviewing the workof the associate levels and providing them onjob training coachingand timely constructive feedback to help them grow in theircareer
• Ensuring you areadhering to compliance with the risk quality and independencematters
• Engaging anddealing effectively with diverse teams from the planning throughthe completion phase of the audit as well as closely following upon the progress of the requested tasks to ensure meeting thetimeline and the firms internal KPIs
• Taking part in the digital initiatives andupskilling areas which aligns most with your teams businessneeds
• Performing otherprocedures as necessary to support issuance of the assurancedeliverables

What will youbring

You are ambitious and you utilizeopportunities to grow and develop. In addition you recogniseyourself in the following characteristics:

• A degree in accounting finance or any otherrelated academic major
• Completed or pursuing a professional qualification such as ACCA CAACA CPA (preferably)
• Progressive experience at the Senior Associate level working with arange of external audit clients in a Big 4 professional servicesfirm
• Experience inauditing Banking se is a must.
• Excellent communication presentation andinterpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a teamenvironment
• Bilingualproficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is aplus
• Business developmentand client relationship building skills
• Willingness to challenge the norms and tocreate a cohesive and effective working team
• Excellent project managementskills
• Knowledge in anyAudit technologies and experience using Data Analytics tools is aplus
• Commitment to valuingdifferences and working alongside diverse people andperspectives
• Thorough technical skills and experienceregarding applicable accounting reporting and auditing standardswith demonstrated exceptional performance
• Experience in the design of engagementprocedures based on risk and materiality
• Previous experience in coaching and leadingengagement teams
• Strongtechnical knowledge and having the ability to research issuespresent alternatives and conclusions toclient/Manager
