    General Description of Role andResponsibilities:

    • Designingand managing water supply and wastewater systems in urban areas.Develop plans for water distribution networks sewage collection andtreatment systems storm water management and water resourcemanagement to ensure safe and efficient water supply andenvironmentalsustainability.
    • Analyzeexisting conditions assess needs and demands and developengineering solutions that optimize functionality andsustainability.
    • Conductfeasibility studies to assess the viability and practicality ofurban developmentprojects.
    • Evaluateenvironmental impact economic feasibility technical constraints andregulatory compliancefactors.
    • Performfeasibility studies to help inform decisionmaking and ensure thatproposed projects align with urban planning goals andrequirements.
    • Assess thepotential environmental impact of urban developmentprojects.
    • Evaluate air andwater pollution habitat disruption and energy consumption. Theydevelop strategies and recommendations to minimize negativeenvironmental effects and promote sustainable development practicesbased on theirfindings.
    • Analyze and planthe layout and distribution of wet infrastructure systems withinurban areas. They consider factors such as population density landuse patterns and transportation demands to determine the optimalplacement and design of infrastructure elements. This includescoordination with road networks public transportation utilitysystems and other essentialservices.
    • Ensurecompliance with relevant regulations building codes andstandards.
    • Review projectdesigns specifications and construction plans to ensure they meetthe required standards for safety accessibility and environmentalimpact.
    • They work closelywith regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits andapprovals for urban developmentprojects.
    • Collaborate withvarious stakeholders including urban planners architects developersgovernment agencies and community members. Work together to developintegrated solutions that meet the needs and aspirations of urbancommunities.
    • Providetechnical expertise and contribute to the coordination of projectimplementation ensuring effective communication and collaborationamong all partiesinvolved.
    • Use dataanalysis and modelling techniques to assess and predict theperformance of urban infrastructuresystems.
    • Analyze datarelated to population growth traffic patterns energy consumptionand other relevant factors to inform planning decisions andoptimize the design and operation of infrastructuresystems.
    • Informsthemselves of the relevant Quality Environmental Safety andOccupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures within HillInternational and ensures continued compliance with theserequirements while employed byHill.
    • Perform other dutiesas assigned by the linemanager/supervisor.

    QualificationsExperience Knowledge andSkills:

    • Bachelor /Master Degree in Engineering or Urban Planning from an accrediteduniversity.
    • Minimum 10years experience in relatedfield.
    • Experience in themaster planning of water and wastewaterservices.
    • Ability tocollect master plans data and produce relatedreports
    • Ability to developKPIs in relation to the strategic planning and monitor theperformance of the regional clusters based on theseKPIs.
    • Experience withpreparing high quality performancereports
    • Capable tofluently communicate in Arabic andEnglish
    • Excellent Verbaland written communicationskills.
