    Genesis Consulting has animmediate opportunity for an experienced, forward thinking SAP HCMPayroll ABAP Developer with a passion for growth and businesstransformation. Join our team and utilize SAP technology toconfigure, develop, deliver and support applications for ourclients while leveraging concepts of Lean, Agile, Kanban and SAFe.Our clients are some of the world s leading companies and thecandidate will be a part of challenging projects to build andsupport technical solutions for their needs. The candidate shouldbe well versed with all aspects of SAP development and tables fortime and payroll on SAP ECC 6.0EHP8.

    Duties andResponsibilities:

    TheSAP HCM/Payroll ABAP Developerwill provide SAP technicalsupport to the existing Payroll Operations Team, HR, Finance and ITDepartments for our long term SAP client. They will be responsiblefor the improvement and automation of SAP payroll processes,reports, configuration and integration to ensure optimization ofthe use of Payroll master data, W4, tax info types, benefits infotypes, wage types, time transfer rules, time evaluations,garnishments, common payroll errors for workers comp, quotabalances, payroll dme files, bank transfers, off cycle runconfigurations, tax reporter configuration, magnetic and printforms for tax reporting, W2 configuration and generation, payrollreconciliation.

    Thisposition is expected to provide expert level business processguidance on SAP and facilitate SAP ABAP development and performanceanalysis for client. Otherduties and responsibilities include but may not be limitedto:

    • Conduct defectanalysis and perform necessary fixes andenhancements
    • Collaborate withfunctional owners, architects and other personnel to developdynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of themarket
    • Assist in creationand unit testing of ABAP programs andreports
    • Review program codesand correct ABAP programerrors
    • Maintain and updateexisting program codes asneeded
    • Develop technicalspecification and estimations for assignedproject
    • Work in compliancewith the programming and documentationstandards
    • Ensure projectcompletion within the allotted timelines andbudget
    • Troubleshootproduction problems in a timelymanner
    • Must handle SAP HCM,Payroll and FI related development and production supportactivities
    • Responsible forcreation of technical specifications based on a business discussionwithend-users
    • Reviews andunderstands business requirements/use cases and functionaldetails
    • Design solutions thatmaximize the out of the box features of the product and minimizecustomizations
    • Test configurationchanges and assist QA team in test planning andtroubleshooting
    • Facilitate end useracceptance
    • Manage design,development and implementation of ABAPprojects
    • Review and revisetechnical designs to meet ABAP projectrequirements
    • Provide technical andfunctional guidance to Genesis team andclient
    • Provide high qualitycustomer support throughout theproject


    RequirementsMinimumQualifications/Experience:

    • Minimum3-5 years of full lifecycle, Systems Integration, SAPimplementationexperience
    • 3-5+years ABAP Development and Performance Analysis Experienceincluding testing, debugging and resolving issues to theimplemented enhancements / conversions / reports related to SAP HCMand Payrollmodules.
    • Mustpossess extensive knowledge in the followingareas:
    • Strong skills inusing ABAP proxy's, Enhancements, RFC's (Remote Function Call),Data Dictionary, Dialog Programming, Classical and InteractiveReporting, ALV, Interfaces/Conversions, Smart forms &EDI.
    • Expertise inenhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standardenhancements framework User exists, Business Transaction Events(BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit&Explicit).
    • Extensive experiencein ABAP development, with both custom development andcustomizations to existing processes, including use of IDOCs, ALE,RFC, BAPI, BADI, ALV, LSMW, ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary,Reports (Classical and Interactive Reports), BDC (Batch-Input andCall Transaction Methods), SAP Scripts,Enhancements.
    • Experience with SAPSmartForms, including custom forms and improvements to existing SAPforms, output methods, determinations,etc.
    • SAPDevelopment Implementation experience on SAP modules like HCM,Payroll, Time, Financials, including FundsManagement
    • Experienceworking in an onshore/offshore software developmentenvironment
    • Clearlydemonstrated sense of urgency and bias foraction
    • Abilityto work well under pressure andindependently
    • Demonstratedability to interpret technicalmaterial
    • Abilityto work on HCM, US Payroll, Time, GL developments, substitutionrules and fixes along with standardissues
    • Able tofully research business situation, identify areas of concern andpresentsolution
    • Knowledgein all phases of development and deployment lifecycle ispreferred
