    One of our prestigious clients inKingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking tohire Shipyard Services Manager whowill be responsible for but not limitedto:

    JobOverview
    As the Shipyard Services Manageryou will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipyardoperations ensuring efficient service delivery customersatisfaction and adherence to industry standards. You will lead ateam of professionals and collaborate with various departments toachieve operational excellence and drive businessgrowth.

    Responsibilities

    • Providestrategic direction and operational oversight for shipyard servicesincluding repairs maintenance refits and conversions. Ensure thetimely and costeffective completion of projects while maintaininghighquality standards.
    • Serve as the primarypoint of contact for clients understanding their needs providingtechnical advice and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Buildand maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat businessand enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Lead andmotivate a team of shipyard personnel including engineerstechnicians project managers and support staff. Provide guidancetraining and development opportunities to ensure a highperformingand cohesive team.
    • Allocate resourceseffectively including manpower equipment materials and budget tooptimize productivity and meet project deadlines. Implementefficient workflows and processes to streamline operations andminimize waste.
    • Establish and maintain qualityassurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standardsregulatory requirements and client specifications. Conduct regularinspections and audits to identify areas for improvement andimplement corrective actions asneeded.
    • Prioritize the health safety andenvironmental sustainability of shipyard operations. Implement andenforce safety protocols risk management practices andenvironmental protection measures to ensure a safe and sustainablework environment.
    • Develop and manage budgetsforecasts and financial reports for shipyard operations. Monitorcosts revenues and profitability identifying opportunities for costreduction and revenue enhancement.
    • Oversee thenegotiation execution and administration of contracts with clientssubcontractors suppliers and service providers. Ensure compliancewith contractual obligations terms and conditions to mitigate risksand maximize project outcomes.
    • Drive continuousimprovement initiatives to enhance efficiency quality and customersatisfaction. Identify innovative solutions best practices and newtechnologies to optimize shipyard operations and stay competitivein theindustry.


    Qualifications

    • Bachelorsdegree in Naval Architecture Marine Engineering or a related fieldpreferred with additional certifications or training in shipyardservices management beingadvantageous.
    • ProficientEnglish communication skills with a minimum IELTS band score of 7or equivalent essential for mentoring trainees and documentingtheir progress.
    • Documented history of being acertified assessor or eligibility to become one demonstrating theability to assess and certify service processes andpersonnel.
    • Proven track record of working atprominent shipbuilding organizations with significant experience inshipyard services management roles. Bring along best practices andbehaviors to enhance operations.
    • Demonstratedexperience working on projects adhering to top classificationsociety standards/requirements such as IACS ABS BV DNV LR RINAetc.
    • Strong leadership abilities with thecapacity to lead and motivate teams toward achieving common servicegoals. Ability to mentor and develop juniorstaff.
