- The successful candidate will cover site bounded staff and cover the following through multiple sites:
- Monitor the safety performance of contractors on site.
- Monitor compliance with occupational health standards and use of personal protection equipment.
- Participate in internal safety reviews and site inspections.
- Take part in incident investigation.
- Check observance of the permit to work systems.
- Carry out or procure specialist HSE training.
- Assist HS specialist to implement health & safety standard on site.
- Site Safety report.
- Supervision Received - Project Manager, Department Manager, Discipline Section Manager
- Higher level Engineer, Project Engineer
- Supervision Given - Inspector, Associate Engineer, Designer, Drafter, Support
- Personnel, Sub-contract personnel
- Internal Contacts - All disciplines
- External Contacts - Clients, Suppliers
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Health/Environmental from a recognized University to the approval of the Engineer.
- Membership of known Safety Association i.e. NEBOSH
- Hold valid certificate in First Aid/Hazard Assessment (Entry to confined Spaces / Scaffolding).
- Minimum 8 years industrial experience working on large multi-use venues or leisure/entertainment construction projects.
