    Job Description

    Manage the oriental pastry preparing · implementing and maintaining oriental Pastry Production standards which are cost effective and tailored to meet changing guest eating trends · Involved in menu planning and development of new oriental desserts · Guaranteeing that the ingredients used are high quality · Inventory control and ordering · Ensuring that the high standards of food safety and sanitation are followed · Supervising all pastry staff · Scheduling staff and assigning tasks · Oversees pastry production for quality and cost standards · Serving as a liaison between pastry staff and customers · Helping expedite guest orders · Jumping in to work as an auxiliary pastry cook when needed · Showing complete loyalty to Pastry Chef · Performing any function necessary for the success of the Pastry · Follow the hotel's standard · Working with Pastry Chef to keep up with latest dessert trends · Monitoring the training of staff · Demonstrates proper use of equipment and cooking techniques

    Qualifications

    Must be Saudi or Muqeem (with a Saudi Resident)

    Experience in the same field is a must, preferably in the Hotel industry

    Strong attention to detail, highly responsible, organized & reliable

    Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

    Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
