As a QA QC Welding Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of welding activities performed on-site and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Qualifications And Skills
    • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
    • Certification as a Welding Inspector (CSWIP, AWS, or equivalent).
    • Minimum 7-10 years of experience as a QA QC Welding Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry.
    • Strong knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and equipment.
    • Familiarity with international welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API).
    • Experience in conducting visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) on welds.
    • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a diverse project team.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address non-conformities.
    Roles And Responsibilities
    • Perform visual inspections on weld joints and verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
    • Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on welds, including ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, and magnetic particle testing.
    • Review welding procedures and qualifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
    • Participate in welding procedure qualification tests and welder qualification tests.
    • Monitor welding activities and provide guidance to welders to improve quality and productivity.
    • Prepare inspection reports, maintain records, and communicate inspection findings to the project team.
    • Identify and address non-conformities and coordinate with project team to implement corrective actions.
    • Assist in conducting internal audits and participate in external audits.
    • Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to welding inspection.
    • Promote a culture of quality and safety on the project site.
