    Kitchen Coordinator

    Reports to: Head Chef

    The Kitchen Coordinator oversees the administrative and logistical aspects of the kitchen, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

    Duties:

    • Maintain a professional work environment by adhering to company rules, fulfilling assigned responsibilities, and recognizing that duties may extend beyond specific tasks.
    • Show respect and courtesy to colleagues, adhere to the dress code, use professional communication skills, maintain proper hygiene, ensure accurate attendance, and use company property responsibly.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage administrative tasks related to branch processes, including data entry, document integration on Oracle database, product checklists, staff schedules, wastage, production, staff meals, petty cash, and inventory management results.
    • Oversee stock management and FIFO process.
    • Maintain stores cleanliness and schedule cleaning, deep cleaning, and pest control in accordance with the Chef Steward.
    • Coordinate daily production distribution and sales requests communication.
    • Evaluate minimum product receiving standards.
    • Ensure products meet specifications, labeling requirements, and minimum shelf-life upon delivery.
    • Integrate daily processes into the ERP system and document receipts and documents accurately.
    • Implement purchasing requisitions and purchasing orders cycle and production integration into the ERP system.
    • Inspect received items for quantity and quality, ensuring they meet agreed-upon specs.
    • Collaborate with the Storekeeper on inventory, stock, turnover, and product quality and pricing.
    • Work closely with the Head chef, Chef de Parties, Kitchen Staff, and Chef Steward to ensure smooth operation, production rate, inspect wastage, and solve arising difficulties.
    • Assist new kitchen staff with onboarding, providing guidance on kitchen protocols, health and safety, and handling their documents.
    • Conduct regular reporting cycles between the branch and management.
    • Ensure employees follow overall policies and procedures.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations.
    • Proficiency in using ERP and Oracle systems for inventory management and record-keeping.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Team player.
