- Coordinate and work closely with ContractAdvisor/Contract Engineer to evaluate price bids from a costengineering point of view.
- Coordinate and workclosely with Contract Advisor/Contract Engineer to prepare andestablish cost evaluation criteria.
- Assist inpreparing developing and measuring Key Performance Indicators(KPIs) for cost performance.
- Maintain computerrecords of cost estimating standards and guidelines.
- Coordinate and work closely with MaintenanceEngineer/Turnaround Engineer to monitor costs at regular intervalsand produce periodic cost reports.
- Willingness to relocate toDhahran Saudi Arabia.
- Hold aBachelors degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical ElectricalIndustrial Construction Production or a closely relateddiscipline.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of costengineering experience in maintenance and turnaround.
- Experience in cost benchmarking such as Solomon will beadvantageous.
- Familiarity and experience withthe contracting process and cost engineering in contracting arenecessary.
- Experienced in conducting bottomupestimates for yearly maintenance budgets and plannedturnarounds.
- Proficient in the use of costestimating tools and the application of market conditions and riskmanagement to estimates.
- Knowledgeable andexperienced in computerestimating programs such as Aspentech CCE(Capital Cost Estimator) etc. and familiarity with estimatedatabases such as Richardson or similar is required.
- Experienced with SAP system.
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP)AACECCP (American Association of Cost Engineers Certified CostProfessional) or AACECEP (American Association of Cost EngineersCertified Estimating Professional) will be preferred.
