Education and Training:
Hold abachelor's degree in medicine with a specialty oradditional training in pediatrics. A fellowship or advanced programin pediatrics can be beneficial.
Licensure andProfessional Classifications:
Must be registered and licensed topractice pediatrics. There may be professional classifications orcertifications required in somecountries.
Experience:
Previous work in the fieldof pediatrics, whether in hospitals, clinics or health units.
Experience managing a variety of pediatric health conditions isimportant.
