Our Client is seeking ahighly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to overseemanufacturing operations within our shipbuilding organization. Thecandidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth executionof manufacturing processes while upholding industry standards andregulatoryrequirements.

Responsibilities

• Directand oversee all manufacturing activities including fabricationassembly and testing to ensure compliance with projectspecifications safety regulations and qualitystandards.
• Act as a mentor to trainees in themanufacturing department providing guidance support and technicalexpertise to facilitate their growth and development. Documenttrainee progress and provide feedback to aid in their professionaladvancement.
• Utilize your certification as anassessor or readiness to obtain one to assess and certifymanufacturing processes and personnel as per organizational andregulatory requirements.
• Leverage yourexperience working at prominent shipbuilding organizations tointroduce and implement best practices in manufacturing operations.Share knowledge and insights to enhance efficiency quality andsafety.
• Ensure that all manufacturingactivities adhere to top classification society standards andrequirements such as IACS ABS BV DNV LR RINA etc. Maintain accuratedocumentation to demonstratecompliance.
• Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams including engineering procurement quality assurance andproject management to ensure seamless coordination and execution ofmanufacturing activities.
• Effectively manageresources including manpower materials and equipment to optimizemanufacturing processes and meet projectdeadlines.
• Champion a culture of safety byimplementing and enforcing safety protocols and risk mitigationmeasures across manufacturing operations. Conduct regular safetyaudits andinspections.

Qualifications

1. Bachelorsdegree in Engineering or a related field preferred with additionalcertifications or training in manufacturing or productionmanagement being advantageous.
2. ProficientEnglish communication skills with a minimum IELTS band score of 7or equivalent essential for mentoring trainees and documentingtheir progress.
3. Documented history of being acertified assessor or eligibility to become one demonstrating theability to assess and certify manufacturing processes andpersonnel.
4. Proven track record of working atprominent shipbuilding organizations with significant experience inmanufacturing operations. Bring along best practices and behaviorsto enhance operations.
5. Demonstrated experienceworking on projects adhering to top classification societystandards/requirements such as IACS ABS BV DNV LR RINAetc.
