Your Impact

Responsibilities

• Maintains the best practice standards, strategies, plans, processes and tools developed for the program for effective stakeholder management.
• Supports the development of project-specific stakeholder management plans, liaising with the project counterparts in collaboration with the project delivery teams. Reviews stakeholder management plans and verifies their effective implementation.
• Closely coordinates and collaborates with the delivery teams, in full alignment with the project, to provide structured internal and external strategic stakeholder management support. Tracks, assigns, and follows up on actions associated with complex stakeholder interfaces.
• Provides technical consultation to the project and the delivery teams regarding strategic stakeholder management as needed and supports the project in engaging with key strategic stakeholders on behalf of the program.
• Works closely with the project Regulatory Entitlement and Affairs (REA) Team to structure communications with external stakeholders including entities such as third-party advisers.
• Maintains the stakeholder risk management plan and tracks mitigation plans and progress. Collates the monthly stakeholder management update report at a city-wide level and escalates significant stakeholder issues to the XCS Leadership Team and the project as necessary.
• Monitors performance of stakeholder management plans, providing internal stakeholders with balanced and objective information to help them understand the processes, deliverables, key performance indicators (KPIs), issues, and relevant concerns.
• Actively participates in and promotes the quality improvement programs. Supports audits of projects to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and NQA-1 requirements.
• Ensures compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the assigned disciplines and compliance with corporate policies.
• Keeps abreast of the current technology germane to the stakeholder management function.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  
  

Preferred Education/Experience

Here's What You'll Need

4-year degree in Engineering (or related field) and 10+ years of related work experience, including managerial experience of discipline leads and technical support personnel. MBA or related MSc degree desirable.

Requires extensive knowledge of stakeholder management practices, processes and current technology. Extensive stakeholder management experience is also a preference for the role. Excellent in-depth working knowledge of relevant standards.

Skills/Competencies

Proven ability to manage technical personnel and the ability to drive excellence in field of expertise, focusing on safety, quality, and improvement of processes. Excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required. Must also demonstrate the ability to effectively execute and manage complex tasks. Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific software. Must be capable of conducting focused briefings to all levels of management. This includes effective problem solving and exercising excellent judgment regarding timing and senior management involvement in significant issues. Ability to network across departments and key external stakeholders.
