    Our client is a large NSWGovernment Organisation who are seeking Executive Officer to jointheirteam

    The Executive Officer isresponsible for managing and coordinating the activities of theChief Operating Officer (COO) and providing high-level managementof and expert advice on strategic and operational issues. TheExecutive Officer also co-ordinates key projects for the COO.

    Key Responsibilities:


    1. Providehigh-level executive advice and support to the COO and the seniorexecutive team on a range of management and operational issues toassist to meet its business objectives
    2. Prepareand coordinate strategic advice, information, and reports on adiverse and complex range of organisational policy, planning andtechnical matters relating ensure that priorities and deadlines areachieved and standards aremaintained
    3. Manage,coordinate and monitor key projects for the COO. Prepare briefs,reports and maintain effective communication and informationsharing with stakeholders to ensure project outcomes aremet.
    4. Prepare,coordinate and review organisational policies, briefing notes,reports and correspondence on business priorities and operationalissues.
    5. Researchissues relating to the COO s responsibilities and formulate optionsand solutions for consideration by theCOO
    6. Monitorand provide advice on the execution of organisational policies andtasks to ensure that focus and performance are consistent with WPCAs strategicdirection
    7. Liaisewith divisions, senior management and their staff on a wide rangeof complex, strategic and confidentialissues
    8. Managestakeholder relationships by developing and maintaining positiveworking relationships and networks with otheragencies
    9. Providesupport in the development of operational policies and servicedelivery options on issues relating, including organisationalresponsibilities and interagencyactivity.

    SelectionCriteria
    1. Tertiary qualifications inrelevant field and/or relevant experience.
    2. Demonstratedpolitical astuteness, sensitivity and awareness ofprocesses.
    3. Significanthigh-level experience in providing a broad range of executive,administrative and related coordination support to senior levelmanagement
